Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) took place from 18th-22nd October 2023, and LNADJ were over the moon to host their first-ever panel at the event.

The panel titled ‘Creating Space’ focused on our Get Equipped initiative, showcasing how the power of music can support disadvantaged youths worldwide.

Our Get Equipped volunteer and all-around producer DJ and legend WAYout Arts member Mash P joined Mr Steve Mac. Alongside LNADJ team members Vijay Anand, James Holdsworth and Ellie Talebian, Mash and Steve shared their LNADJ journeys as a beneficiary and volunteers, rejoicing in the musical partnership and friendships they have made along the way.

The discussion aimed to inspire the audience by sharing insights into how Get Equipped helps young people worldwide recover from trauma and experience positive mental health, increased self-esteem, self-discovery, stress relief, and emotional release.

After the event, we received a heartening email from the ADE team letting us know how powerful and inspiring the conversation had been.

Jonny Lee, Founder of LNADJ, commented: “It has been fantastic being so heavily involved with Amsterdam Dance Event this year. A huge international event with people from all over the music industry world attending, this was a fantastic opportunity to share our story and get more people involved with inspiring and changing the lives of children through music.”

Thank you to everyone at the Amsterdam Dance Event for inviting us to share the LNADJ journey and details of our project, Get Equipped.
