THE ISSUE

633 million people in the World do not have access to safe water. This is roughly one in nine of the world population.

Half of the World’s hospital beds are filled with people suffering from water related diseases (UN).

The water sanitation crisis claims more lives through disease than any war claims through guns (UN).

443 million school days are lost each year due to water related illnesses (WHO/UNICEF).

Women and children collectively walk 200 miles a day to collect, often dirty and unsafe, water.

1.5 million children die every year due to water relataed diseases.

Last Night a DJ Saved My Life are passionate about bringing clean water to those currently living without it. One of our missions is to help alleviate the World Water Crisis. The concept is simple – clean water for all.

Have a drink on us campaign’s mission is to couple the best and the most effective water solutions in the world with the businesses and individuals who are committed to being in the driving seat of ending the world water crisis. We strive to learn, adapt and evolve the most current and effective solutions available for the problems and situations being faced, ensuring every penny spent reaches its highest potential.

£2,400 will fund one of our bore-well projects that will give an entire community access to safe, clean water for many years. You will receive details of the actual well that your funds have built including images & GPS co-ordinates of the village. A plaque will also be attached to the well.
