Inja to join LNADJ in Tanzania!

22/01/2026

“Creativity is a part of everyone, whether they realise it or not. We all have a story to tell.”

This February, Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation is taking an all-star cast of artists, educators, and facilitators to Tanzania to deliver our music education programmes – using creativity, connection, and collaboration to build skills, confidence, and hope.

Joining us on this journey is Inja, a hugely versatile artist known for his infectious energy, sharp wordplay, and ability to connect with people across genres, generations, and cultures. From poetry and hip hop to reggae, jazz and drum & bass, Inja’s work sits at the intersection of music, storytelling, and human expression.

Alongside performing, Inja brings extensive experience hosting major music events, collaborating with artists across the global scene, and contributing to creative writing and spoken-word education. His belief is simple but powerful: creativity lives in everyone, whether they realise it or not — and art is one of the most natural ways we have to tell our stories.

In Tanzania, Inja will be supporting and delivering LNADJ’s Get Equipped project, sharing his skills with young people and creating space for expression, inspiration, and creative confidence through music and words.

As we prepare for Tanzania, we caught up with Inja to talk about creativity, community, and what it means to share and evolve together.

What inspired you to join Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation for this experience?

“I like helping. I love seeing the evolution of humans through art and music.”

Whether it’s music, art, connection, teaching, or energy — what do you hope to share with the young people we’ll be working with?

“All of the above. And I hope to take inspiration from them and evolve that into my own creativity.”

What do you hope to gain personally and professionally from joining us in Tanzania?

“A brand new experience. Opening my eyes to a place in the world that I’ve never seen, and having the opportunity to take it all in.”

Why is giving back and being part of an organisation like LNADJ important to you?

“Creativity is a part of everyone, whether they realise it or not. We all have a story to tell. Art is the most natural way for us to express our stories.”

Can you share one record that changed or saved your life?

“I don’t really have a single go-to. I’m constantly up and down with what’s new and what I’ve loved. But the latest record this year that I think is absolutely phenomenal is Let God Sort It Out by Clipse. I think it’s an immaculate record – beautiful from start to finish and it makes me feel inspired.”

For Inja, creativity is inseparable from humanity. Whether through music, words, or performance, his work is rooted in connection – sharing energy, learning from others, and allowing stories to evolve through collaboration.

As he joins Team LNADJ in Tanzania this February, Inja brings openness, experience, and a deep belief in the power of creativity to inspire change –  while embracing the opportunity to learn, grow, and be inspired by the young people he’ll be working alongside – absolute vibes that we are so grateful for.

Please head to Inja’s JustGiving page here to support him and help fund this vital outreach project.

Thank you, and as always, Big Love,

Team LNADJ x
