CYCLE IBIZA
18th, 19th, 20th of MAY 2017

The Challenge
The goal is simple, to alleviate poverty and improve the lives of vulnerable children.
The Cycle Ibiza Challenge 2017 aims to raise funds to provide specifically designed housing for a number of special needs children living in Feathers tale Children’s Village which is situated in the foot hills of Mt. Kilimanjaro, rural Tanzania. The project will be delivered in stages so all funds raised by the ride will no doubt enable it to be built quicker.
22 special needs children and over 40 able bodied children currently receive full time care in the ‘village’. Some of the children live with HIV, others with trauma and others with their own issues as we all have, but at least they are one big, all be it unusually structured, happy family. With your help, many more children will benefit from this amazing village.
You can read more about the village here.
The Ride
Whilst riding across Ibiza is undoubtedly going to be a lot of fun, the challenge is harder than it may sound. Taking place over 3 days the riders will travel between 200–240km whilst climbing 2400 –3200 metres, dependant on fitness & ability.
Over 20 riders will be taking part including 2020 Vision label boss & DJ, Ralph Lawson, 2020 Vision. To date they have currently raised in excess of £15,000. The riders have personally covered their costs for the trip & ride so all funds will go towards helping the campaign reach its goal.
