Over £1000 raised the easy way! BOOM!

Last November, on Giving Tuesday, we announced our partnership with the brilliant  J-Music. Our pioneering project, Get Equipped, would not be possible without the support of the music industry, our sponsors, ambassadors, fundraisers and donators!
Like us, J-Music cares about music education sustainability and accessibility. With creative tools made to make music-making easy, they’re on a mission to help everyone integrate music practice into their daily lives, whatever their background.
We caught up with their Marketing Director, Marjorie Bressonto, to find out why she and Joué Music (J-Music) joined us on our mission to change lives and save lives.
Why did you get involved with Last Night A DJ Saved My Life in the first place?
Music is universal, everyone wants to master it but too few succeed due to its complexity. That’s why J-Music designs creative tools to make music with ease. As we’re on a mission to help everyone, whatever their background, integrate music practice into their daily lives, I wanted to go a step further by making concrete actions with charities acting locally for those in need. What LNADJ is doing to empower young people through music is completely fitting with this.
Why is our organisation important to you?
I’m getting more involved with charities, and LNADJ is one of the first organisations we’ve collaborated with. So, in a way, LNADJ is quite symbolic for me.
Do you have a personal connection to our mission?
Music has always been important for me, from wild dance floors to a way to experiment with creativity. It’s therapeutic, and I wish everyone could have access to it. What LNADJ does by helping young people who have had a tough life in Tanzania or the Philippines by providing them with DJ and production equipment makes sense to me.
What do you love most about us?
I had a very good feeling with the LNADJ team. I’m glad it has been very natural and easy to make concrete actions happen together.
Why did you pick our Get Equipped campaign to support?
Last Giving Tuesday, we decided to give 25% of our sales of the day to LNADJ. This conducts us to provide the charity with ressources but also different J-Play packs. I wanted educators from LNADJ to be able to lead music workshops locally while giving access to innovative technology that guarantees pleasure and intuitiveness.

What does it mean to you to help provide music education for children and young people without access to it?
It’s all about spreading all the benefits of musical practice. Let’s help them find a way to express their creativity, connect with others and gain confidence.
Thank you, J-Music!! We are so grateful for your continued support and belief.
If you’d like to join J-Music and us on our mission to change lives and save lives through donation or donated equipment, please contact vijay@lastnightadjsavedmyife.org. We would LOVE to hear from you.
Big Love,
