Belgium will host its first ever techno charity festival on 15th April 2008 with all profits going to charity projects, one of which is our very own – “Have a Drink On Us campaign”! This is truly a festival of firsts on many fronts. One which we are really excited to be a part of.
The brainchild of Ida Engberg, Techno for humanity was born out of a desire to give something back to society and help the refugee crisis of 2015. Three years after the first charity gig, Techno for Humanity is back from hibernation; only this time it’s bigger and better! TFH 2018 will see the original club night in IKON transformed into a huge outdoor festival consisting of 12 solid hours of techno.
The festival has 3 main stages, each with its individually chosen charitable cause. LNADJ is the chosen charity for Krankenhaus and we will have our very own ambassador. The larger-than-life Eats Everything, will be leading our line-up. In his true charitable and generous spirit, he will again be pumping out the beats as only he knows how, donating his full fee to “Have a Drink On Us”. Our mission is to bring clean water to those currently living without this basic human right in African and Indian communities, by building fresh water wells in disadvantaged areas and saving lives. Every ticket sold will help support this campaign.
The festival boasts a great line-up and with names including Seth Troxler, Pan-Pot and Dubfire in the mix. This early season event is definitely not one to be missed! Located in the beautiful Recreation Park De Ster in Sint-Niklaas, ravers will be treated not only toa techno spectacular but also to beautiful surroundings – a feast for the ears and eyes alike.
In partnership with Green Events, it also promises to be as environmentally safe and sustainable as possible. With the festival site being just over 2-hours’ drive from Calais, it is a fantastic road trip if you live in UK!
