Day 2 – Acclimatisation hike: Enjoy a day hike to Lac Cherseys (2150m) and the ‘secret’ lakes beyond. An opportunity to test legs on the mountain trails, dip your legs in the mountain water and gain some altitude in preparation for Mont Buet summit. Likely hike via the beautiful Tete au Vent trail with views of Mont Blanc and the massif all day. Lunch on the trail and late afternoon return to accommodation for rest, recovery and dinner.
Day 3 – Summit Day: A dawn start, hiking a gentle uphill through the Berard Valley passing the spectacular Cascade de Bèrárd waterfall and following mountain streams to Refuge de la Pierre a Bèrárd.
