LNADJ & We Love...Space Partnership

Following Last Night a DJ Saved My Life’s (LNADJ) successful application to the Charities Commission, and the acquisition of their UK Registered Charity Number, the charity partnered up with We Love…Space - one of Ibiza's longest running and most popular weekly parties - to raise money for the Ibiza Preservation Fund which funds the Ibiza Limpia campaign.

Money was raised by collecting a 5 euro charitable donation from everyone on the non-paying guest list. In total, 6,720 euro was collected across two nights - 31st July and 25th September (the We Love…Space closing fiesta.) Both nights were electric - as is to be expected of We Love - and the closing fiesta included a live performance of the track ‘Last Night a DJ Saved My Life’ from the original ‘In Deep’ vocalist and LNADJ Ambassador, Zaza. Many of the other LNADJ supporters were also in attendance, behind the decks and on the dance floor, including Fatboy Slim, Alfredo, Andy Wilson, Andy Carroll and Tirk.

The money raised is being used to develop and support Ibiza Limpia, whose objective is to actively engage the people of Ibiza in keeping their beaches, forests, roads and natural areas clean. They also work hard to encourage more efficient recycling across the island. With the funds raised, Ibiza Limpia will be able to coordinate more cleaning operations and recycling workshops throughout the winter, whilst achieving a much higher public profile and more effective promotional campaign. As an example of just one of their planned incentives: beach ashtrays will be distributed by Ibiza Limpia next summer in a bid to remind the local authorities of the ease of avoiding our cigarette-ridden sands at very little cost and effort.

We Love…Space have also kindly donated their advertising billboards to be used outside of the season as a promotional tool to raise awareness to the island residents – spearheading what is hoped to become a growing movement across all billboard owners.
